We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Internal Sales Executive to join our fast-paced Eastern Regional Sales Office, based within our Doncaster branch. Reporting to the Regional Sales Office Manager, you’ll drive sales and gross margin performance by building lasting relationships with existing customers and proactively winning new business.

Regional Internal Sales Executive role responsibilities

• Develop trusted relationships with a portfolio of major customers.
• Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
• Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
• Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
• Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams.
• Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.
• Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships.
• Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
• Managing yourself to ensure that every sales lead, enquiry, and quotation is followed up effectively.
• Sets a vibrant tone for sales on a daily basis.
• Ensure sales and gross margins are maximised.
• Be aware of all sales opportunities and gather information from customers and competitors that my influence or help our company.
• Ensure you always exceed our customer’s expectations by dealing with them professionally, whatever their enquiry.
• Be aware of the change in market conditions and continue to develop your product knowledge.
• Work closely with suppliers and develop relationships with representatives of our suppliers and work closely with them to create opportunities to influence or help our company.
• To work in line with company policies and procedures.

What are the requirements to be part of our team?

• Excellent customer service skills and experience; knowing what great service feels like to our customers is really important to us
• Strong telephone experience and excellent face-to-face communication skills
• Previous sales experience with a commercially-driven attitude along with product knowledge relevant to our industry sector
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• A flexible attitude
